Vineyard Notes
Our Dry Riesling is crafted with fruit grown on two certified-sustainable Finger Lakes Vineyards: 89% of the fruit hails from our own limestone-rich Estate vineyard on the East side of Cayuga Lake and the remaining 11% is from Seneca East Vineyard, which is situated on a gentle slope overlaying shale bedrock on Seneca Lake.
Winemaker Notes
We hand-picked and basket-pressed the Riesling grapes, then chilled the juice. We fermented the wine for an average of 84 days at 53 degrees in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of tangerine zest, lychee fruit, and chalk on the nose. A burst of fresh apricots, green apples, and key limes tease the palate, along with an austere chalky minerality and hints of salinity. The finish is long, dry, and refreshing.
