TASTING NOTES: Lithe and expressive with a distinctive Pinot Noir nose of fresh red
fruits. Wild strawberries and cream combine with a sappiness and light chewiness on
the palate to make this a very approachable mid-weight wine with a persistent finish
and bright acidity.

WINEMAKING: After a gentle destemming process, whole berries and 10% whole
clusters were fermented in stainless steel open-top tanks and punched down daily.
Barrel aging in neutral French oak provided minimal intervention to encourage a natural
expression of the aromatic Pinot Noir varietal.

REGION: Known for its temperate, maritime climate, the vineyards chosen for this
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir are adjacent to the Petaluma Gap, and feature decomposed
sandstone and loam - excellent growing conditions for Pinot Noir, and recently critically
noted as one of the most exciting subregions in all of California. Minerally soils and cool
temps energize the vines, providing a restrained, delicate fruit and floral character to
the wines.
