This compelling blend of Old Vine Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah has created a memorable and delicious wine. Aged in American oak barrels for 12 months, our Essential Red is easy to drink, but impossible to forget.
This dark-purple-hued wine is opulent, with aromas of boysenberries, blue fruits, frankincense, violets and spiced toasty oak on the nose. The flavors on the palate are blackberry compote, white nectarine, allspice and molasses interlaced with chicory, milk chocolate and a dry, silky finish.
