The 2015 Montecucco Rosso Rigoleto is 70% Sangiovese, 15% Ciliegiolo and 15% Montepulciano that sees a minimal part aged in oak barrels. Most of the wine goes into stainless steel tanks instead and is stored at reduced temperatures to lock in that distinct aromatic verve. The wine is redolent of wild cherry and raspberry with light touches of moist earth and toasted nut at the back.- Wine Advocate
