From Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties, the 2017 Chardonnay gives up plenty of citrus, white peach, brioche, and charcoal notes to go with medium-bodied richness and a clean, elegant, beautifully pure style. I wasn’t able to get the release price, but I suspect it’s a smoking value.
