Anthony Road Art Series Riesling 750Ml

The 2014 Riesling "Art Series" comes in at 11 grams per liter of residual sugar. It basically shows dry. It was one of my favorite Rieslings on my trip---not the only huge winner, to be sure, but certainly one of them. It is a big mouthful, exuberant, filled with underlying flavor, gloriously fresh and nicely textured. The velvet and concentration will serve this well as it ages, as will its lingering finish. In truth, as fine as it tastes now, it is not really ready to drink. It could use a couple of years to settle down. It should age beautifully and begin to show the complexity that older wines get in time. Wine Advocate
