Vintage:  Low rainfall and high temperatures during the last ripening phase of the grape, which in contract to forecasts, delayed the start of the harvest thanks to the huge temperature range and led to a slow ripening which resulted in good acidity and fruit

Vineyard: Finca Las Cruces in Casa de los Planos Cuenca is at an altitude 650-700 metres above sea level. The vineyards were planted in 1994 and were the first of verdejo in the area.

Organic viticulture, working the soil in the traditional way without the intervention of chemical products.

Production:  Harvest from the second fortnight in September.

Fermentation controlled at a temperature of 15 degrees, clean musts in stainless steel vats. At every stage of production great care is taken to maintain the freshness and acidity for which the Verdejo is known

Analysis:  Yellow with green reflections, clean. Aromas of white flowers, stone fruit and aromatic herbs. Very fresh with good acidity, fruity and balanced.
